It has been fully restored as close to factory condition as possible. Two trucks were used to build this one and the project took a year and a half. During that time, all rust was removed and the vehicle body and frame were primed and painted. Most all of the chrome was redone to capture a beautiful high gloss shine. Every effort was made to restore this classic with original parts. The brakes were upgraded to provide separate brake fluid to the front and rear. The engine is a fully rebuilt 1950 Mercury Flathead with less than 200 miles of use. An electric fan with a temperature sensor was installed to help cooling the V8 flathead, which can continue to run after shutdown if necessary. The transmission is a manual three speed on the floor.
