1941 Ford Deluxe Convertible Car History We have a time-capsule of an original and restored 1941 Ford Deluxe Convertible here at Adventure Classics that will take you back in time in minute you sit behind the steering wheel. 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible in Tuxedo black This is a very solid rare convertible in great running condition. This desirable, pre-war, classic convertible is well appointed, attractive in presentation with a great color combination, and has what appears to be the original 221 cubic inch flathead Ford engine. Engine & Drivetrain This 1939 Ford Deluxe Convertible Coupe makes quite an impact wherever it goes and by looking under the hood you will start to realize how period correct it really is. Gaze at the 221 cubic inch Ford Flathead V-8 engine, 3-speed manual transmission, with the downdraft carburetor, the engine and intake painted blue, correct black air cleaner, as well as all other engine appointments appearing as they did when it was built and sitting in a very factory correct, detailed, and painted engine compartment. Interior Our Ford has a subtle original look to it with the red leather Interior consisting of the split front bench seat and matching rear seat and door panels, tan dash, Banjo steering wheel, classic knobs and controls, manual transmission shifter, and everything else period looking too. The wide, comfortable front and rear seats makes this an all-weather car for six passengers with the pretty tan operable folding convertible top and nicely appointed truck to store your luggage in. Exterior As Ford stopped production of vehicles in 1942 and did not continue production again until 1946 because of our involvement in World War II, the 1941 Ford is a sought after collector vehicle with an iconic 3-piece front grille and 2-piece front fenders. The shiny black classic exterior paint is the first thing to catch your eye as it is a quality application and has a great gloss and depth that really shines in the sun light. The badging, door handles, classic brightwork pieces, sharply-pointed grille, and great chrome bumpers round out that stock look. It has a tan manual folding top and rides on wide whitewall tires with black painted steel wheels, and hubcaps. Conclusion This beautiful 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible we have here at Adventure Classics is super fun to drive and a real head-turner. It is in great shape and runs as good as it looks.
