The cars equipped with the larger engines also came packaged as the “Daytona” as a Lark was used as the pace car for the 1962 Daytona 500. Some V8 Larks were raced and were quite successful. Offered here is one of these very rare 1963 Lark Daytona’s equipped with a 260 cubic inch V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor and 4 speed transmission. Even rare this is a Lark Daytona convertible. A very solid original car looking sharp in its original red color and still wearing its original black and white interior that is in fantastic condition. The carburetor was rebuilt and fuel system cleaned. It also has new brakes and radial tires as well as a new white vinyl top. Even more interesting, this car still retains its original 4 speed tag on the firewall and is equipped with a factory tachometer in the dash which is very rare. Overall this is a great and rare Lark Daytona convertible that is fast and ready o be shown and driven. A very rare Studebaker.
