At the heart of this 240Z is a match of Datsun drivetrain components that compliment each other. The L28 engine is from a 280Z displacing 2.8 liters, and is paired with a ported and polished E31 Datsun head. This creates a higher compression ratio that is still friendly to 87 octane fuel. Fully restored Dual-SU carbs have been added, and the exhaust travels through Jet-Hot coated long tube headers exiting through a Borla muffler.
