Description
BMW 3.0 CSL is one of 57 Series 2 “Batmobiles” produced, only four of which were finished in Taiga green from the factory. The Batmobile featured a full aerodynamic package in addition to lightweight body panels, a quick-ratio steering box, 14? Alpina wheels, and Scheel sport seats. This example had been repainted white. A subsequent restoration included rust repair, a bare-metal repaint in the factory color, and the installation of a rebuilt 3.2L inline-six. The car has been driven just a few hundred miles since the work was completed.
