Finished in gray over brown cloth, the car is powered by a turbocharged 2.1-liter inline-five mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and Quattro all-wheel drive. The engine was replaced in 1986, and an ABT engine-management computer, a boost-pressure control valve, and a pressure cut-off potentiometer have been installed. A later-model grille and single headlights have been installed, an Audi Sport steering wheel has been fitted, and a Stebro exhaust system with a catalytic converter has been installed.
